Baghana is a small village of 1463 hectares in Bhim Tehsil in Rajsamand district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baghana depends on DEOGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baghana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baghana's pin code is 313331[4], and village code is 02967300. The area of Baghana is segregated as 23 hectares irrigated area, 162 hectares unirrigated, the 153 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 434 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Baghana has One post office (Bagana B.O) and Four public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Baghana has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Baghana is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1846 and has total administration over 430 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Baghana has 310 children, 165 boys and 145 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 551 (29.85%) males constitute 248 (13.43%) of the population and females 303 (16.41%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 78 (4.23%) males constitute 41 (2.22%) of the population and females 37 (2.0%).

The workforce is 433 male, 375 female with 394 (48.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 283 males and 111 females. 60 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 52 male and 48 female agricultural labor. 414 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DEOGARH and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
