Bagiyara is a small village of 858 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bagiyara depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bagiyara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bagiyara's pin code is 306305[4], and village code is 02400600. The area of Bagiyara is segregated as 58.27 hectares irrigated area, 314 hectares unirrigated, the 308 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 178 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bagiyara has One post office (Bagiara B.O) and Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Bagiyara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bagiyara is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1387 and has total administration over 309 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bagiyara has 195 children, 96 boys and 99 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 352 (25.38%) males constitute 168 (12.11%) of the population and females 184 (13.27%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 7 (0.50%) males constitute 4 (0.29%) of the population and females 3 (0.22%).

The workforce is 326 male, 347 female with 569 (84.55%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 297 males and 272 females. 168 males and 168 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 33 male and 59 female agricultural labor. 104 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaitaran and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
