Bajna is a small village of 486 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bajna depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 43.06% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bajna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bajna's pin code is 322218[4], and village code is 01253500. The area of Bajna is segregated as 132.29 hectares irrigated area, 9.32 hectares unirrigated, the 45.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 169.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bajna has One post office (Bajna B.O). Bajna has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bajna is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1631 and has total administration over 320 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bajna has 277 children, 146 boys and 131 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 520 (31.88%) males constitute 284 (17.41%) of the population and females 236 (14.47%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 35 (2.15%) males constitute 20 (1.23%) of the population and females 15 (0.92%).

The workforce is 387 male, 167 female with 391 (70.58%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 346 males and 45 females. 81 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 149 male and 25 female agricultural labor. 163 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Karauli to sell juggery and make their living.
