Bamanwas is a small village of 232 hectares in Bansur Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bamanwas depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 64.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bamanwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bamanwas's pin code is 301412[4], and village code is 00867600. The area of Bamanwas is segregated as 159 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated, the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bamanwas is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1279 and has total administration over 224 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 135 (10.56%) males constitute 74 (5.79%) of the population and females 61 (4.77%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KHAIRTHAL and Alwar to sell ghee and make their living.
