Banai is a small village of 399 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banai depends on Lachhmangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 66.15% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Banai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banai's pin code is 332311[4], and village code is 01676100. The area of Banai is segregated as 66.15 hectares irrigated area, 300.87 hectares unirrigated, the 21.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Banai is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 722 and has total administration over 122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Lachhmangarh and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
