Baneth is a small village of 654 hectares in Manohar Thana Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baneth depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baneth is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baneth's pin code is 326037[4], and village code is 04068400. The area of Baneth is segregated as 210.15 hectares irrigated area, 22.31 hectares unirrigated, the 170.43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29.55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Baneth has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Baneth is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2082 and has total administration over 394 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 325 (15.61%) males constitute 173 (8.31%) of the population and females 152 (7.30%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
