Banjari is a small village of 649 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banjari depends on Deogarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Banjari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banjari's pin code is 305926[4], and village code is 02532400. The area of Banjari is segregated as 30 hectares irrigated area, 50.61 hectares unirrigated, the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 436 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Banjari has One post office (Banjari B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Banjari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Banjari is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1337 and has total administration over 281 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Banjari has 231 children, 118 boys and 113 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 41 (3.07%) males constitute 18 (1.35%) of the population and females 23 (1.72%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 39 (2.92%) males constitute 18 (1.35%) of the population and females 21 (1.57%).

The workforce is 327 male, 345 female with 239 (35.57%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 219 males and 20 females. 68 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 12 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 433 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Deogarh and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
