Bari Khen is a small village of 293 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bari Khen depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Bari Khen is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bari Khen's pin code is 327032[4], and village code is 03422500. The area of Bari Khen is segregated as 74 hectares irrigated area, 61 hectares unirrigated, the 58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Bari Khen has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bari Khen is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1048 and has total administration over 198 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 269 male, 258 female with 266 (50.47%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 154 males and 112 females. 140 males and 80 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 29 female agricultural labor. 261 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
