Barla is a small village of 717 hectares in Asind Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barla depends on Asind, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 76.16% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Barla's pin code is 311024[4], and village code is 02796200. The area of Barla is segregated as 98.42 hectares irrigated area, 80.13 hectares unirrigated, the 471.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.2 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Barla has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Barla is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1109 and has total administration over 247 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Barla has 185 children, 95 boys and 90 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 228 (20.56%) males constitute 119 (10.73%) of the population and females 109 (9.83%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 155 (13.98%) males constitute 65 (5.86%) of the population and females 90 (8.12%).

The workforce is 292 male, 339 female with 440 (69.73%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 261 males and 179 females. 139 males and 91 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 79 male and 83 female agricultural labor. 191 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Asind and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
