Barsa is a small village of 1713 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barsa depends on Marwar Junction , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 330.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Barsa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Barsa's pin code is 306001[4], and village code is 02441900. The area of Barsa is segregated as 437 hectares irrigated area, 499 hectares unirrigated, the 594 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 183.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Barsa has One post office (Barsa B.O) and Nine public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Barsa has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Barsa is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1598 and has total administration over 395 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Marwar Junction and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
