Bas Kirtan is a small village of 638 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bas Kirtan depends on PILANI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 199.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bas Kirtan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bas Kirtan's pin code is 331301[4], and village code is 00600700. The area of Bas Kirtan is segregated as 261 hectares irrigated area, 285.28 hectares unirrigated, the 70 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bas Kirtan has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bas Kirtan is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1224 and has total administration over 222 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 98 (8.01%) males constitute 50 (4.08%) of the population and females 48 (3.92%).

The workforce is 301 male, 282 female with 363 (62.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 286 males and 77 females. 183 males and 61 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 220 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PILANI and Churu to sell brick and make their living.
