Baseri is a small village of 741 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baseri depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 478.61% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Baseri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baseri's pin code is 303903[4], and village code is 01561200. The area of Baseri is segregated as 478.61 hectares irrigated area, 147.39 hectares unirrigated, the 102.61 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Baseri has Five public telephones. Baseri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Baseri is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1843 and has total administration over 249 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Baseri has 258 children, 126 boys and 132 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 516 (28.0%) males constitute 258 (14.0%) of the population and females 258 (14.0%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 76 (4.12%) males constitute 45 (2.44%) of the population and females 31 (1.68%).

The workforce is 463 male, 375 female with 735 (87.71%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 409 males and 326 females. 318 males and 113 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 103 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
