Bassi is a small village of 255 hectares in Rawatbhata Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bassi depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bassi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bassi's pin code is 312023[4], and village code is 03526600. The area of Bassi is segregated as 51 hectares irrigated area, 94.26 hectares unirrigated, the 78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Bassi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bassi is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 663 and has total administration over 130 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 82 (12.37%) males constitute 44 (6.64%) of the population and females 38 (5.73%).

The workforce is 209 male, 194 female with 373 (92.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 193 males and 180 females. 124 males and 136 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 30 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
