Bawada is a small village of 327 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bawada depends on UDAIPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bawada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bawada's pin code is 313325[4], and village code is 03012400. The area of Bawada is segregated as 17.59 hectares irrigated area, 27.57 hectares unirrigated, the 139.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 142.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Bawada has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bawada is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 533 and has total administration over 117 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bawada has 91 children, 40 boys and 51 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 93 (17.45%) males constitute 45 (8.44%) of the population and females 48 (9.01%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPUR and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
