Beenda is a small village of 328 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Beenda depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Beenda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Beenda's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04011700. The area of Beenda is segregated as 119.13 hectares irrigated area, 132.4 hectares unirrigated, the 33.45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Beenda has Thirteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Beenda has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Beenda is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 775 and has total administration over 151 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Beenda has 97 children, 58 boys and 39 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 92 (11.87%) males constitute 48 (6.19%) of the population and females 44 (5.68%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 322 (41.55%) males constitute 163 (21.03%) of the population and females 159 (20.52%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
