Bera is a small village of 4241 hectares in Bali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bera depends on Bali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 215.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bera's pin code is 306126[4], and village code is 02480600. The area of Bera is segregated as 589.78 hectares irrigated area, 774 hectares unirrigated, the 122 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1180 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bera has One post office (Bera B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Bera has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Bera is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 9667 and has total administration over 1945 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bera has 1463 children, 758 boys and 705 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1937 (20.04%) males constitute 961 (9.94%) of the population and females 976 (10.10%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1880 (19.45%) males constitute 990 (10.24%) of the population and females 890 (9.21%).

According to a census 2011 report, 3818 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 2362 male, 1456 female with 2795 (73.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1935 males and 860 females. 492 males and 91 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 249 male and 570 female agricultural labor. 1023 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bali and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
