Bhana is a small village of 341 hectares in Rajsamand Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhana depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 18.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhana's pin code is 313324[4], and village code is 03020600. The area of Bhana is segregated as 42 hectares irrigated area, 93 hectares unirrigated, the 179.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhana has One post office (Bhana B.O) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Bhana has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bhana is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, . The village has a total population of 2629 and has total administration over 500 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 95 (3.61%) males constitute 44 (1.67%) of the population and females 51 (1.94%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 429 (16.32%) males constitute 196 (7.46%) of the population and females 233 (8.86%).

The workforce is 710 male, 334 female with 904 (86.59%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 644 males and 260 females. 223 males and 189 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 23 male and 30 female agricultural labor. 140 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
