Bhandara is a small village of 194 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhandara depends on Dohad (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhandara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bhandara's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03480300. The area of Bhandara is segregated as 20 hectares irrigated area, 110.12 hectares unirrigated, remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhandara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bhandara is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 836 and has total administration over 150 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bhandara has 202 children, 115 boys and 87 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 3 (0.36%) males constitute 2 (0.24%) of the population and females 1 (0.12%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 831 (99.40%) males constitute 434 (51.91%) of the population and females 397 (47.49%).

The workforce is 201 male, 214 female with 319 (76.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 170 males and 149 females. 150 males and 127 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 18 male and 19 female agricultural labor. 96 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dohad (Gujrat) and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
