Bharai is a small village of 723 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bharai depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 54.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Bharai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bharai's pin code is 313329[4], and village code is 03033400. The area of Bharai is segregated as 54 hectares irrigated area, 216 hectares unirrigated, the 158 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 294.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bharai is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, . The village has a total population of 1153 and has total administration over 236 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 291 (25.24%) males constitute 147 (12.75%) of the population and females 144 (12.49%).

The workforce is 338 male, 325 female with 576 (86.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 322 males and 254 females. 184 males and 174 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 75 male and 74 female agricultural labor. 87 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
