Bhawnagar is a small village of 1115 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhawnagar depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhawnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhawnagar's pin code is 306602[4], and village code is 02437600. The area of Bhawnagar is segregated as 18 hectares irrigated area, 667 hectares unirrigated, the 276 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 153.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell coal and make their living.
