Bheemsar is a small village of 896 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bheemsar depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 93.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bheemsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bheemsar's pin code is 333001[4], and village code is 00684200. The area of Bheemsar is segregated as 93 hectares irrigated area, 616 hectares unirrigated, the 164 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bheemsar has One post office (Bhimsar B.O) and Twenty One public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Bheemsar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Bheemsar is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3010 and has total administration over 555 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bheemsar has 404 children, 211 boys and 193 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 631 (20.96%) males constitute 338 (11.23%) of the population and females 293 (9.73%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 190 (6.31%) males constitute 96 (3.19%) of the population and females 94 (3.12%).

The workforce is 677 male, 437 female with 828 (74.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 577 males and 251 females. 172 males and 128 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 22 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 286 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
