Bhilal is a small village of 650 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhilal depends on Kuchaman City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhilal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bhilal's pin code is 341519[4], and village code is 01890800. The area of Bhilal is segregated as 248 hectares irrigated area, 176 hectares unirrigated, the 111 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Bhilal has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bhilal is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1281 and has total administration over 223 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bhilal has 245 children, 135 boys and 110 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 493 (38.49%) males constitute 256 (19.98%) of the population and females 237 (18.50%).

Employment[edit]

According to a census 2011 report, 441 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 301 male, 140 female with 300 (68.03%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 233 males and 67 females. 150 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 40 male and 25 female agricultural labor. 141 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kuchaman City and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
