Bhindi is a small village of 275 hectares in Keshoraipatan Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhindi depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhindi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhindi's pin code is 323301[3], and village code is 02752200. The area of Bhindi is segregated as 186 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated, the 13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 219 male, 174 female with 340 (86.51%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 195 males and 145 females. 126 males and 93 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 56 male and 38 female agricultural labor. 53 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
