Bhooni is a small village of 1707 hectares in Nawa Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhooni depends on Nawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhooni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhooni's pin code is 341508[4], and village code is 01898600. The area of Bhooni is segregated as 488.7 hectares irrigated area, 690.32 hectares unirrigated, the 72.64 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 455.74 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhooni is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2973 and has total administration over 566 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bhooni has 461 children, 235 boys and 226 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 724 (24.35%) males constitute 392 (13.19%) of the population and females 332 (11.17%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 96 (3.23%) males constitute 51 (1.72%) of the population and females 45 (1.51%).

The workforce is 782 male, 693 female with 896 (60.75%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 615 males and 281 females. 324 males and 153 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 78 male and 83 female agricultural labor. 579 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nawa and Nagaur to sell wheat and make their living.
