Bijaipur is a small village of 853 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bijaipur depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 311.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bijaipur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bijaipur's pin code is 312022[4], and village code is 03604400. The area of Bijaipur is segregated as 311.7 hectares irrigated area, 71.65 hectares unirrigated, the 265.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 204.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bijaipur is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4171 and has total administration over 904 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1061 (25.44%) males constitute 554 (13.28%) of the population and females 507 (12.16%).

The workforce is 1156 male, 655 female with 1645 (90.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1085 males and 560 females. 499 males and 355 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 186 male and 121 female agricultural labor. 166 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
