Bilod is a small village of 1491 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bilod depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 154.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bilod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bilod's pin code is 302028[4], and village code is 01587900. The area of Bilod is segregated as 154 hectares irrigated area, 162 hectares unirrigated, the 55 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 520 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bilod has One post office (Bilod B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Bilod has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bilod is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1339 and has total administration over 231 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bilod has 248 children, 130 boys and 118 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 71 (5.30%) males constitute 37 (2.76%) of the population and females 34 (2.54%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1056 (78.86%) males constitute 558 (41.67%) of the population and females 498 (37.19%).

The workforce is 316 male, 300 female with 531 (86.2%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 268 males and 263 females. 165 males and 245 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 85 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
