Bilod is a small village of 319 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bilod depends on Mandalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bilod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bilod's pin code is 311604[4], and village code is 02934900. The area of Bilod is segregated as 67 hectares irrigated area, 40 hectares unirrigated, the 41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 160 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bilod is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 528 and has total administration over 110 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 186 (35.23%) males constitute 88 (16.67%) of the population and females 98 (18.56%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 11 (2.08%) males constitute 3 (0.57%) of the population and females 8 (1.52%).

The workforce is 151 male, 79 female with 192 (83.48%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 141 males and 51 females. 108 males and 40 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 11 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 38 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mandalgarh and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
