Bilota is a small village of 371 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bilota depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 11.40% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bilota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bilota's pin code is 313202[4], and village code is 03053000. The area of Bilota is segregated as 52 hectares irrigated area, 33.98 hectares unirrigated, the 140 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 145 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bilota has One post office (Bilota B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Bilota has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bilota is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1791 and has total administration over 383 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bilota has 229 children, 122 boys and 107 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 87 (4.86%) males constitute 44 (2.46%) of the population and females 43 (2.40%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 511 (28.53%) males constitute 257 (14.35%) of the population and females 254 (14.18%).

The workforce is 585 male, 557 female with 869 (76.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 542 males and 327 females. 149 males and 106 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10 male and 122 female agricultural labor. 273 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
