Bokra is a small village of 1214 hectares in Ahore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bokra depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bokra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bokra's pin code is 343042[4], and village code is 02285000. The area of Bokra is segregated as 169 hectares irrigated area, 917.23 hectares unirrigated, the 80.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 47.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Bokra has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Bokra is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1469 and has total administration over 283 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Bokra has 275 children, 164 boys and 111 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 475 (32.33%) males constitute 263 (17.90%) of the population and females 212 (14.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 33 (2.25%) males constitute 15 (1.02%) of the population and females 18 (1.23%).

The workforce is 371 male, 388 female with 509 (67.06%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 307 males and 202 females. 148 males and 129 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 11 male and 25 female agricultural labor. 250 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
