Borli is a small village of 1056 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Borli depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Borli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Borli's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02320900. The area of Borli is segregated as 154 hectares irrigated area, 759 hectares unirrigated, the 121 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Borli has Six public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Borli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Borli is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 888 and has total administration over 147 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Borli has 133 children, 69 boys and 64 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 110 (12.39%) males constitute 60 (6.76%) of the population and females 50 (5.63%).

The workforce is 236 male, 192 female with 339 (79.21%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 197 males and 142 females. 96 males and 116 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 9 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 89 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
