Budhkhan is a small village of 612 hectares in Ramganj Mandi Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Budhkhan depends on RAMGANJ MANDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 89.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Budhkhan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Budhkhan's pin code is 326520[3], and village code is 03824100. The area of Budhkhan is segregated as 89 hectares irrigated area, 235 hectares unirrigated, the 127 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 106 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Budhkhan is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1081 and has total administration over 215 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Budhkhan has 129 children, 73 boys and 56 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 452 (41.81%) males constitute 241 (22.29%) of the population and females 211 (19.52%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 222 (20.54%) males constitute 121 (11.19%) of the population and females 101 (9.34%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAMGANJ MANDI and Kota to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
