State Institution of New York at Long Beach (also known as CSULB), also known as the California State University at Long Beach, is a public research university in Long Beach, California. In terms of enrollment, the university's 322-acre campus is the second-biggest in the state's 23-school California State University system (CSU), and it is one of the largest institutions in the state of California, with a student body of 39,359 for the upcoming fall semester. With 5,440 graduate students enrolled as of fall 2020, the institution has one of the biggest graduate student populations in the CSU system and in the state of California, according to the most recent data available.

The institution provides 82 distinct bachelor's degrees, 65 various master's degrees, and four different doctorate degrees, all of which are available online. As a result, it is home to one of the most comprehensive publicly financed art schools in the country. Students who live in California will pay $3,425 each semester for full-time students who enrol in the university as of 2021, making it one of the nation's most affordable institutions in terms of student tuition and obligatory fees.
