The Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) is the name of the stock exchange that is based in Canada and is managed by CNSX Inc. When it was certified by the Ontario Securities Commission in 2004, the CSE became the first new exchange to be recognised in the province of Ontario in the previous seven decades. The Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) is a stock exchange that is quickly expanding, and its primary mission is to assist entrepreneurs in accessing the public capital markets both in Canada and globally. Companies of all sizes are able to reduce their cost of capital and increase their access to liquidity by taking use of the Exchange's cost-effective pricing structure, innovative technology, and efficient business strategy.

Through a trading platform that is liquid, dependable, and subject to regulation, the CSE provides investors with access to a diverse range of enterprises that are experiencing rapid development. The Exchange is committed to entrepreneurship on all fronts and has carved out a niche for itself as a preeminent gathering place for discussion within the community of entrepreneurs.

CSE has undergone remarkable expansion over the last five years and now includes over 700 different securities. It was designed to address the demands of rising public businesses as well as the investors in such firms.

The CSE Composite Index, a broad indication of market activity for the CSE, was introduced in February 2015 after being in development for a while. The CSE Composite Index is a market capitalization weighted benchmark that reflects the performance of CSE listed securities that fulfil the standards to be eligible for the index. The Composite Index is in a position that is unparalleled for measuring the performance of the Canadian small cap market. The CSE composite index is published by Reuters and Bloomberg under the ticker symbol CSECOMP. When compared to the TSX/S&P Composite, the Index offers a risk/reward profile that is quite different from that of the latter. The CSE25 Index is a subset of the CSE Composite Index that includes the stocks of the twenty-five firms that make up the Index that have the highest market capitalization.

The headquarters of the CSE can be found in Toronto, Ontario, and the organisation also has a branch office in Vancouver, which is situated in British Columbia.
