Cansarvornem is a small village of 1116 hectares in Pernem Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)^[2] in the state of Goa, India.^[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Cansarvornem depends on PERNEM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1.44% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Cansarvornem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Cansarvornem's pin code is 403512^[5], and village code is 00001800. The area of Cansarvornem is segregated as 20.44 hectares irrigated area, 509.35 hectares unirrigated, the 204.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 170.72 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Cansarvornem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1382 and has total administration over 310 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PERNEM and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
