Caroline Blazovsky, nationally recognized as America’s Healthy Home Expert® is a residential environmental consultant, home investigator, media personality and entrepreneur. She has worked on the homes of celebrities and the everyday person that wants to improve their living space.[1] Caroline also works as a public educator and spokesperson in the home improvement industry. She promotes healthier homes throughout the US and the world.[2] She has been featured by major news outlets, AARP, Shape, SiriusXM, Broan‐Nutone, House Smarts TV, The Jenny McCarthy Show, Good Housekeeping, Santa Fe Dehumidifiers and hundreds of podcasts, radio and print interviews. She was a former co host on a syndicated home improvement radio show and podcast at Talk Media Network.[3]
With more than 20 years of working with residential clients and 30,000 home investigations.[4] she can teach you the healthy way to home projects. Blazovsky is a Certified Mold Remediator (CMR) , Indoor Environmentalist (CIE), and Environmental Allergen Consultant (CEAC). Caroline is certified through the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)[8] as a Healthy Homes Specialist (HHS),[9][10]
She works as a house detective finding hidden problems in a home like mold, allergens, water contamination, carcinogens, and bad building practices. She studied Sustainable Design at Boston Architectural College and Public Health at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.[11][12]
Besides being an environmental consultant and house detective, Caroline has made it her passion to educate the public about healthier homes. Caroline is a board member of the Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) responsible for creating indoor air quality professional credentialing as well as a committee member, keynote speaker & scientific contributor for the national Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA).[13] She was key in educating the public about indoor environments and its role in virus transmission during the Covid‐19 pandemic.[14]
As a successful female entrepreneur Caroline has developed DIY home test kits Predict™, and the Examinair® to help homeowners assess their homes for toxins and allergens. She resides as CEO of My Healthy Home®, a national company specializing in indoor air quality products, consultation and testing services.[15] Ms. Blazovsky was named a 2020 Top 25 Leading Woman Entrepreneur in her home state of New Jersey and her company My Healthy Home was a finalist for NJBIZ Business of the Year 2020.[16] Her focus is working with physicians, homeowners, other building professionals and the public to improve wellness through home environments. Caroline loves making humans healthier.[17]
Caroline Blazovsky attended Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington, NJ. She then went on to Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA to gain philosophy and political science degrees. She was an intern for the Howard Stern Show in New York City. Ms. Blazovsky has a graduate certification from the Boston Architectural College in sustainable design and studied Public Health at the University of Southern California.[18]
Caroline is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of My Healthy Home®.[19] My Healthy Home was incorporated on May 21, 2003 in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. The company holds the trademarks, My Healthy Home®, Healthy Home Expert® and Examinair®.[20] My Healthy Home also purchased the Examinair brand in 2018.[21] My Healthy Home is a nationwide company that offers mold testing, indoor air testing, consultations and healthy home products.[22] They source only environmentally friendly building materials and products used to create a healthier home environment.[23] My Healthy Home specializes in UV light disinfection technologies, dehumidification, and filtration products. The company offers boutique services for testing homes for toxins and creating a state of the art indoor air quality.[24] At My Healthy Home, clients can test their homes for mold, mycotoxins, volatile organic compounds, allergens, formaldehyde, and other contaminants. Ms. Blazovsky and her company were recognized as Covid-19 experts and leading industry professionals during the 2020 pandemic and as a growing sector of the building industry. My Healthy Home is a certified green business through Green America.
