Cassandra Kunze (born 1994) is an American model and beauty pageant titleholder in several US contests. Kunze contested in her first beauty pageant event when she was fourteen.[2][3] In 2014, she won Miss California USA and subsequently represented California at Miss USA 2014, where she reached top 10 in the contest and was granted Miss Photogenic award.[4] Kunze also won Miss Teenage California in 2012.[5]
Born in 1994, in San Diego, California,[6] Cassandra Kunze graduated from Grossmont High School,[2] and then studied Television, Film, and New Media at San Diego State University. She visited Israel as a U.S. student ambassador,[7] and was once described as a "friend of Israel" by The Washington Free Beacon.[8]
In her childhood, Kunze took piano lessons[9] and later started competing at local beauty pageant events. At fourteen, she was crowned the Mother Goose Parade Queen. In 2012, She won Miss Teen San Diego County and Miss Teenage California. Kunze had worked with the California Ballet Company[4] for fifteen years. She also acted in plays for a while.[2] Kunze won Miss California USA 2014 and subsequently competed in Miss USA 2014 representing the state of California, where she finished Top 10 and won the Miss Photogenic special award.[7][3][8][10][5][1]
