Chadi is a small village of 2553 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chadi depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chadi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chadi's pin code is 342312[4], and village code is 01924600. The area of Chadi is segregated as 8 hectares irrigated area, 2526.27 hectares unirrigated, the 18.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Chadi has One post office (Chadi S.O) and Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Chadi has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chadi is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3499 and has total administration over 619 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Chadi has 742 children, 387 boys and 355 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 625 (17.86%) males constitute 320 (9.15%) of the population and females 305 (8.72%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 386 (11.03%) males constitute 201 (5.74%) of the population and females 185 (5.29%).

The workforce is 843 male, 510 female with 1062 (78.49%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 693 males and 369 females. 327 males and 158 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 144 male and 192 female agricultural labor. 291 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
