Chadwas is a small village of 3199 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chadwas depends on SUJANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chadwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Chadwas's pin code is 331503[4], and village code is 00657200. The area of Chadwas is segregated as 1.71 hectares irrigated area, 2851.87 hectares unirrigated, the 77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 205.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chadwas has One post office (Charwas S.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Chadwas has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chadwas is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6945 and has total administration over 1204 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Chadwas has 1075 children, 584 boys and 491 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1443 (20.78%) males constitute 716 (10.31%) of the population and females 727 (10.47%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 7 (0.10%) males constitute 2 (0.03%) of the population and females 5 (0.07%).

The workforce is 1721 male, 820 female with 2034 (80.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1486 males and 548 females. 543 males and 440 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 159 male and 31 female agricultural labor. 507 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SUJANGARH and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
