Chand Kheri is a small village of 256 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chand Kheri depends on Sangod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 65.10% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chand Kheri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chand Kheri's pin code is 326515[4], and village code is 03980700. The area of Chand Kheri is segregated as 140.08 hectares irrigated area, 34.5 hectares unirrigated, the 58.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 979 male, 248 female with 1024 (83.46%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 854 males and 170 females. 83 males and 22 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 255 male and 100 female agricultural labor. 203 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sangod and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
