Chandali is a small village of 1232 hectares in Sarwar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandali depends on Sarwar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandali's pin code is 305404[4], and village code is 02576000. The area of Chandali is segregated as 129 hectares irrigated area, 692 hectares unirrigated, the 340 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 71 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chandali has One public telephone. Chandali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chandali is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 847 and has total administration over 175 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Chandali has 128 children, 73 boys and 55 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 107 (12.63%) males constitute 56 (6.61%) of the population and females 51 (6.02%).

The workforce is 235 male, 217 female with 343 (75.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 190 males and 153 females. 87 males are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 42 male and 148 female agricultural labor. 109 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarwar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
