Chandpura is a small village of 276 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandpura depends on VIRATNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandpura's pin code is 301409[4], and village code is 00889000. The area of Chandpura is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated, the 57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Chandpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Chandpura is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 429 and has total administration over 77 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 38 (8.86%) males constitute 24 (5.59%) of the population and females 14 (3.26%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VIRATNAGAR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
