Changora is a small village of 1262 hectares in Rajakhera Tehsil in Dholpur district, also known as the land of red stone in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Changora depends on DHAULPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 238.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Changora is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Changora's pin code is 328029[3], and village code is 01179200. The area of Changora is segregated as 238 hectares irrigated area, 193 hectares unirrigated, the 669 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 162 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Demographics[edit]

Changora is a census village in the district of Dholpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 888 and has total administration over 150 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Changora has 169 children, 102 boys and 67 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 48 (5.41%) males constitute 28 (3.15%) of the population and females 20 (2.25%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DHAULPUR and Dholpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
