The Chatrium brand was founded in 2008 under City Realty Co., Ltd., an established real estate arm of the Sophonpanich family headed by Mr. Chali Sophonpanich, son of the late Bangkok Bank Chairman, Mr. Chatri Sophonpanich. Chatrium Hospitality is a Thai independent hospitality group, founded in 2008 under City Realty Co., Ltd. “Chatrium Hotels & Residence” and “Maitria Hotels &Residences” are the main brands being managed under the group.[1]
