Chawali is a small village of 1014 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chawali depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chawali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chawali's pin code is 341023[4], and village code is 01787300. The area of Chawali is segregated as 885.74 hectares unirrigated, the 92.59 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chawali is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1374 and has total administration over 238 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 787 (57.28%) males constitute 400 (29.11%) of the population and females 387 (28.17%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell oil and make their living.
