Chhapri is a small village of 369 hectares in Dungla Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhapri depends on Bhinder, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 4.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chhapri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chhapri's pin code is 312402[4], and village code is 03640000. The area of Chhapri is segregated as 44 hectares irrigated area, 84 hectares unirrigated, the 78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 162.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chhapri is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 573 and has total administration over 120 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 67 (11.69%) males constitute 28 (4.89%) of the population and females 39 (6.81%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 153 (26.70%) males constitute 77 (13.44%) of the population and females 76 (13.26%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhinder and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
