Chhapri is a small village of 556 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhapri depends on Sarwar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chhapri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chhapri's pin code is 305814[4], and village code is 02575100. The area of Chhapri is segregated as 38.06 hectares irrigated area, 268.1 hectares unirrigated, the 168.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 57.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chhapri is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 710 and has total administration over 133 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 59 (8.31%) males constitute 34 (4.79%) of the population and females 25 (3.52%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 94 (13.24%) males constitute 45 (6.34%) of the population and females 49 (6.90%).

The workforce is 208 male, 203 female with 408 (99.27%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 206 males and 202 females. 169 males and 190 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 8 male and 10 female agricultural labor. 3 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sarwar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
