Chhatrapura is a small village of 895 hectares in Mangrol Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chhatrapura depends on Mangrol, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Chhatrapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chhatrapura's pin code is 325206[4], and village code is 03858900. The area of Chhatrapura is segregated as 600 hectares irrigated area, 85 hectares unirrigated, the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 190 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Chhatrapura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chhatrapura is a census village in the district of Baran, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1076 and has total administration over 185 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Chhatrapura has 133 children, 62 boys and 71 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 134 (12.45%) males constitute 68 (6.32%) of the population and females 66 (6.13%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 895 (83.18%) males constitute 455 (42.29%) of the population and females 440 (40.89%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mangrol and Baran to sell ghee and make their living.
