Chorpura is a small village of 122 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chorpura depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 62.98% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chorpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chorpura's pin code is 304022[4], and village code is 02621600. The area of Chorpura is segregated as 62.98 hectares irrigated area, 33.9 hectares unirrigated, the 9.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chorpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chorpura is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 517 and has total administration over 104 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Chorpura has 85 children, 50 boys and 35 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 6 (1.16%) males constitute 3 (0.58%) of the population and females 3 (0.58%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 505 (97.68%) males constitute 266 (51.45%) of the population and females 239 (46.23%).

The workforce is 121 male, 122 female with 226 (93.0%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 115 males and 111 females. 87 males and 101 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 female agricultural labor. 17 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
