    Chris Hassel is an anchor and play-by-play sportscaster for CBS Sports HQ. CBS Sports Network, and Stadium (sports network).[1][2][3][4] Prior to joining CBS Sportsin 2017, he was an anchor for ESPN's SportsCenter from 2013-17,[5][6] and also hosted several studio shows for the network.[7] Hassel began his career at WHO-DTin Des Moines, IA winning Iowa Sportscaster of the Year in 2012[8]. He has called Stadium (sports network) Football Game of the Week with analyst A. J. Hawk 2017.[9]

    Hassel is a 2007 graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA.[10][11]
