Cruzeiro eSports is the sports department of the traditional sports club Cruzeiro. Created in 2019. It has teams in various sports such as FIFA , League of Legends and Garena Free Fire.

Free Fire[edit]
The Cruzeiro embarked on Free Fire and May 2020 with great style. Although it didn't guarantee a place in the Series A logo, the team made it to the finals of Series C and narrowly missed out on the top eight. Although it was affected by several problems in its passage in the third division, the team from Minas Gerais ran to fix the mistakes made and arrives to dispute the elite of the Brazilian Free Fire League.[1][2][3]

League of Legends[edit]
On October 2, 2020, Riot Games via social networks announced that Cruzeiro was one of the teams selected in the League of Legends, and that it will play the 2021 CBLOL. The club paid about R$ 4.4 million to secure its place in the Riot Games franchise.[4][5][6]
